Manchester City and Liverpool renew rivalry in blockbuster clash
English giants Manchester City and Liverpool will lock horns in a highly-anticipated UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg on Tuesday, April 11. Both teams are in excellent form and will be looking to gain an advantage in the tie ahead of the second leg at Anfield next week.
City have been in imperious form this season, winning the Carabao Cup and sitting top of the Premier League table. They will be confident of overcoming Liverpool, who they beat 3-2 in the Premier League earlier this season.
Liverpool, however, are no pushovers and will be looking to make a statement. They are the reigning Premier League champions and have a wealth of experience in the Champions League, having won the competition six times.
Inter Milan face tough test against Bayern Munich
In the other quarterfinal first leg on Tuesday, Italian giants Inter Milan will host German champions Bayern Munich. Inter have been in impressive form this season, but they will be facing a Bayern team that is arguably the best in the world.
Bayern have won the Bundesliga for the last nine seasons and are the reigning Champions League holders. They will be looking to continue their dominance in Europe and will be confident of beating Inter.
Inter, however, will be hoping to cause an upset. They have a good record at home in the Champions League and will be looking to make the most of the home advantage.
